TRIP: White’s Ranch Day Trip

DESCRIPTION: BFF’s February trip to White’s Ranch (a.k.a. Sportsman’s Paradise) was rescheduled for March 5th due to freezing temperatures on the originally scheduled February date. About half of the streams and ponds on the property were frozen and not fishable in early February. YIKES! Long time members at White’s have never before seen the water freeze quite like that.
On Saturday, March 5, a dozen BFF fishers gathered at the White’s Ranch clubhouse for breakfast: pancakes, bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. Thanks to Jim for sharing his Baileys with us all. We then braved a day of cold temperatures, rain and snow … which rewarded each of us some nice fishes.
