Some of the BFF members braved the snow pack and high waters for a late April trip to Southeast Idaho. Based on a lot of research, it was a scouting trip that ended with high rewards.  We fished smaller, still waters with a little luck catching two trout, but the Snake River pleasantly surprised us with a significant Mirror Carp migration. 

All of the members on the trip caught carp.  Actually, we caught so many that our arms were hurting.  We returned the following weekend on a non-club trip to catch the small-mouth bass migration.  We also caught a number of suckers, which provided for a little more fish-fighting fun.
