Hams Fork – May 2024 overnight

We had great weather and a pot luck hosted by Anita and Carol at their campsite Friday night. Though a few got up at midnight, we did not see the northern lights that many Utahan’s did that weekend, May 9-12.  Fishing was harder than usual for this time of year below the dam at Lake Viva Naughton, but some nice rainbows and a very large Tiger trout were caught.  A few managed to fish the Green River Sunday.  We were a few miles below Fontanelle Dam Sunday and everyone caught whitefish.  The trout must have been on another section of the river that day.
