Last years trip to Mantua Reserviour was fun and most wanted to come back. So here it is. We'll be back.
About 90 min. drive north of Salt Lake on hwy 89. MAP LINK
Meet time would be 9:00. Location to be announced. Please note... the speed limit in Mantua is 25mph...strickly enforced. You have been warned.
You will need a float tube or other water craft to work the shoreline. Fish would be large mouth, blue gill, trout, and possible crappie. If you're targeting Bass, a 6wt or heavier rod might be a good choice. Floating or sinking line with stillwater and streamer patterns will work great.
Pack a lunch. Water was clear, but low and cold. Pack accordingly. More details at April meeting.
