Steinaker Lake is one of the treasures of the Vernal area. About 3 hrs. (with traffic) away from Salt Lake. Spring is a great time to wet a line at this lake.
This is a multi-day outing starting on a Thurs thru Sunday. You can attend any or all of the days.
As of April, the lake was at 85% full. Water temps should be up in late June helping the fish get off the bottom.

There's RV parks in Vernal as well as Airbnb's, and cheap hotels.
