Just an invite to everyone. We have scheduled a Fly Tying with Friends evening 5:30-8:30 pm. at Whitmore Library 2197 E Fort Union Blvd, SLC, UT 84121.
A few things this is and isn’t. This is a get together to tie flies, It isn’t a class. That being said: You are invited to come, if you need help and/or equipment we can have that there for you. We have a number of tiers that are able and more than willing to share knowledge with anyone, but we only come prepared to do that with a before-hand request.
Our space is limited, but we don’t want to scare anyone off. We have never had it so crowded we couldn’t fit another.
So what we (Ed Switzer, James Banas, Kim Schroeder and myself) need:
- is an RSVP and
- any equipment needs ahead of time so we will be prepared for anyone that shows up.
We understand that everyone is busy, and this isn’t designed as another "have to go to” activity by the club. It's just a fun few hours to swap stories, get to know each other, and learn new techniques.
