We for years have been invited guests at Boat show, What that means is they give us a booth and we talk fishing to anyone and everyone that comes up. We usually have two to four fly tiers and one or two talkers going most of the time. It for us as a group is an opportunity for community outreach and education.
As people come up and visit with us and watch us tie flies we have the opportunity to talk to them about fly fishing. It is a big part of what we do. Jim “Pappy” Blevins, and Myself direct this show, and we always need and welcome help.
For anyone that helps, you of course get a wrist band for free entrance to the show, and we usually have some passes for family members also.
The dates are 30 Jan thru 2 Feb. We have a sign up sheet broken down by days and hours. Shifts are mornings and evenings.
