We will be fishing the Duchesne River and tributaries from the beautiful Aspen campground.
Target Species: Rainbow, brown and brook trout.
Drive time: 1.5 hrs.
Level of fishing difficulty: Generally fairly easy to hungry trout.
Access: Paved except for campsite road which is well maintained.
Weather: Cool nights and comfortable daytime temperatures.
Terrian: There are numerous access points adjacent to the river, often with good dirt parking. Can fish the river from the campsite by walking.
Wading difficulty: Easy but generally requires hip or chest waders to get around brush and rocky banks.
