Target Species: Rainbow, brown and brook trout.

Drive time: 2 hrs., 116 miles.

Level of fishing difficulty: Fairly easy fishing to hungry trout but some brushy banks and stealth required to target wary fish.

Access: Paved except for campsite road which is well maintained.  Many dirt pull-outs and parking areas.  High clearance\four by four not required.

Accommodations:  Camp sites have been pre-reserved in the Aspen Campground for this trip.  Water and pit toilets available.

Weather:  Cool nights and comfortable daytime temperatures.

Terrian: There are numerous access points adjacent to the river, often with good dirt parking.  Can fish the river from the campsite simply by walking.

Wading difficulty: Easy but generally requires hip or chest waders to get around brush and rocky banks.
