David Blackett with Wasatch Fly Fisher, a licensed Utah guide and fly maker in Ogden, is hosting Bugs & Brew, a free monthly fly tying night at UTOG Brewing (2331 Grant Ave, Ogden).
It's a beginner-friendly night, Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. We cover what trout are eating that month and tie that pattern together. Materials are free, and loaner tools and a loaner vise are available.
- Nov 19: the tying seats are full, but all are welcome to come watch and hang out.
- Dec 17: seats are open, with 12 total.
