Boulder Fish out Trip Report

July 11-16, 2024, were the days this year that members of the Club came to Boulder, UT to fish. It was a great trip. We ended up with 13 members attending.

The Garkane Impoundment continued to provide fish for our evenings. On Saturday we fished Posey Lake, which even though a bit slower than years past provided big fat fish that kept us on our toes. This year we were able to fish Lower Bowns without there being an algae bloom, fishing was slow but when you got one it was worthwhile. Kings Pasture was also fished on Monday by Carol and Anita. We had the annual Potluck dinner with Fred’s Boulder Beef Hamburgers, lots of food and enjoying the company.

Fun time was had by all, I think everyone caught fish although we had to work a little harder this year. Already looking forward to another time.
